Introducing the New Language Feature in Kona Business AI

Choose a preferred response language in Kona Business AI. Use Auto to match your message language or pick a language for consistent global workflows.

Kona Business AI now supports a language preference so teams can move faster across regions, customers, and internal stakeholders—without copy/pasting into a separate translator.

What the Language feature does

The Language setting controls the language of Kona’s responses. You can keep it on Auto to match the language you write in, or you can select a specific language so every response stays consistent for a deliverable (like a client email sequence, a quarterly report, or a support knowledge base article).

This is not full UI localization—it’s focused on the content Kona generates so you can work in the language your team (or your customer) needs right now.

Auto or fixed language

Keep conversations natural with Auto language detection, or lock responses to a single language for consistent sales, support, and reporting.

Built for global teams

Choose from 35+ major languages, including Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, and both Chinese scripts.

Respects your prompts

If you explicitly ask Kona to respond in a specific language, it will follow your request even when Auto is enabled.

How it works (and when to use Auto)

  • Auto: Kona responds in the same language as your message. This is great for multilingual threads and global teams switching languages throughout the day.
  • Fixed language: Kona responds in your selected language. This is ideal when you are producing a specific asset (like Spanish outreach or a French customer reply template) and want consistent outputs.
  • Prompt overrides: If you ask for a language explicitly in your message, Kona follows your instruction.

Pro tip: Keep deliverables consistent

If you’re drafting a multi-part asset (email sequence, playbook, enablement deck notes), choose a fixed language so every section reads like it was written for the same audience. Switch back to Auto when you’re done.

Supported languages

The Language selector includes the most-requested business languages across North America, Europe, LATAM, MENA, and APAC. Here are the languages available today:

EnglishSpanishFrenchGermanItalianPortuguese (Brazil)Portuguese (Portugal)DutchSwedishDanishNorwegianFinnishPolishCzechHungarianRomanianGreekTurkishRussianUkrainianHebrewArabicPersianHindiBengaliUrduIndonesianMalayVietnameseThaiFilipinoSwahiliChinese (Simplified)Chinese (Traditional)JapaneseKorean

Use cases (sales, support, and strategy)

  • Sales outreach: Draft localized cold emails, follow-ups, and call scripts that match the customer’s region.
  • Customer support: Turn English ticket notes into polished replies in the customer’s language with the right tone.
  • Market research: Summarize local-language sources into a consistent report format for stakeholders.
  • Internal enablement: Create multilingual SOPs and onboarding notes for global teams.

Get started in four steps

  1. Open Settings in your Kona workspace.
  2. Go to Language and choose Auto or select your preferred language.
  3. Start chatting—Kona will apply the language preference to new responses.
  4. Change it anytime to match the customer, region, or deliverable you are working on.
