How to use chart and analysis brief

Describe the columns, periods, units, and question. Supply representative values or attach an authorized data file in Workspace.

Choose a chart for the comparison: a line for a time series, bars for categories, or another supported structure where it fits the question.

Check axes, missing values, totals, and interpretation. Explain whether a change is an observation or a hypothesized cause.

What to check before using the result

The sample cannot establish seasonality or the cause of the change from three points.

  • Axes and units are labeled.
  • Missing values do not become zeros.
  • The chart does not imply unsupported causation.
