What to expect
100 AI usage units per day
The allowance is shared across Chat and AI work in Workspace. A chat request generally uses one unit. A task with several generation steps or retries can use several, so this is not a promise of 100 completed tasks.
A fresh allowance each day
When you reach the allowance, new AI work is limited until it resets at midnight UTC. You will see a limit message. Reaching the limit does not start a paid subscription.
Large tasks may need smaller steps
Temporary request limits and limits on individual tasks also apply. If a task stops, review its status before retrying or divide the work into smaller requests.
