What you can request

A compact model linking the customer problem, offer, channels, revenue, costs, and assumptions to test.

Start with the required details, then add files and authorized context in Workspace. Review progress, revise the result, and export the supported format that fits your task. Your account’s existing usage limits apply.

  • A completed model is a hypothesis map; it does not replace financial analysis or customer validation.

How to use lean business model

Start with one customer segment and one pressing problem. Explain the current alternative and your proposed change.

Connect the offer to a reachable channel and a plausible payment model. Mark customer acquisition cost, willingness to pay, and service capacity as assumptions when they are unmeasured.

Use the model as a test map. Revise the weakest box with new evidence instead of treating a complete canvas as proof of viability.

What to check before using the result

The price and time assumptions must be measured during a pilot.

  • The segment is specific enough to contact.
  • Revenue and cost units are consistent.
  • Each major assumption has a proposed test.

Starting information

Offer and customer problem
Monthly website maintenance for neighborhood service businesses
First customer segment
Owner-operated repair shops
Revenue model
Monthly retainer
Resources and constraints
One operator, five hours per week for the pilot

Prepared output excerpt

  1. Problem: owners postpone updates and routine checks.
  2. Offer: a bounded maintenance package with explicit exclusions.
  3. Channel: introductions through local business networks.
  4. Critical test: whether the retainer covers real service time and support requests.

The price and time assumptions must be measured during a pilot.

Questions about this workflow

Is this a finished business plan?

It is a compact model for finding assumptions. Expand it into an operating plan once you have useful evidence.

Can I map a service business?

Yes. Describe service capacity, delivery time, payment terms, and customer acquisition constraints, rather than forcing a software subscription model.
